This October, we are excited to feature profiles covering historical womxn activists. After introducing Untold Herstories by spotlighting current womxn activists, we also wanted to honor various womxn from the past who have paved the way for us. Among the noteworthy activists, we are featuring the following individuals: Clara Gonzalez, Paulina Luisi, Yuri Kochiyama, Betty Friedan, Margo Jefferson, Lila Karp, Kate Millett, and Ti-Grace Atkinson. Whether it was advocating for civil rights or leading the intersectional feminist movement, these womxn fought against all odds to enact change.
